National-level Comrades Tennis Camp!
The 29th Yamanakako Tennis Camp (Gathering of up to 120 comrades from all over the country)
Dates: November 5th (Sat) to 6th (Sun), 2022 (1 night, 2 days)
The "Yamanakako Tennis Camp" is an exclusive tennis event for comrades.
Each time it's held, it's extremely popular, attracting about 100 to 150 participants. For the 29th edition, participants from all over the country gathered, with a maximum capacity of 120 people! Matches were divided by skill level, so whether you were an intermediate to advanced player or a beginner, there was something for everyone who wanted to play tennis seriously or just have fun and socialize! Moreover, unlike just a tennis camp or tournament, we emphasized the importance of socializing through tennis. The team matches, where teams were formed evenly by skill level, were also highly enjoyable.
That's why making friends nationwide is also one of the charms of this event!
\ Here's why Yamanakako is amazing!/
Yamanakako is famous for Mount Fuji. From the tennis courts right in front of the hotel, you can enjoy a panoramic view of Mount Fuji! Playing tennis with such a breathtaking backdrop guarantees an exhilarating experience! We utilize 18 to 26 courts (the number of courts depends on the number of participants).
The hotel offers a large bathhouse that you can use anytime, day or night! Since it can be reserved privately, you can use both the men's and women's baths! After your workout, relax and refresh yourself in the soothing hot water!
We rent out the entire hotel for groups such as sports camps, seminars, and training sessions. You can enjoy your stay without worrying about other guests! Since we've hosted multiple events here, the hotel staff are understanding and cooperative.
In the evening, let's deepen our connections at the networking party! To facilitate bonding, we also have some fun activities lined up! And if you wish, you can keep drinking until late into the night.

・Individuals who are cooperative and have common sense.
・Those who enjoy tennis, regardless of their skill level.

There are 26 tennis courts secured for both days. On the first day, we will gather after lunch and play tennis from 13:00 until sunset. After dinner on the first day, there will be a social gathering. On the second day, tennis is scheduled from 9:00 to 15:00. During tennis matches, there will be plenty of opportunities to play with unfamiliar people. At the social gathering on the first night, we will incorporate several seat changes to ensure that participants can interact with many people and have a fun time, even with those they are meeting for the first time.
During the camp, if participants who wish to exchange contact information couldn't do so, the organizers assisted by providing the contact information of the requester to the other party. The event is extremely friendly, attracting a wide range of participants from their 20s to their 60s, and conversations flowed easily among tennis enthusiasts. With a rotation system for matches, participants naturally became friends with strangers! At the evening social gatherings, we also prepared icebreakers to help people open up, making even first-time attendees feel at ease.

Everyone was serious about tennis, and the atmosphere at the evening parties was amazing. I made a lot of friends all at once. I even made plans to go out for drinks with people I met at this tennis camp. I got to talk to people I'd only seen at tournaments before. It was great that we could use the bathhouse 24 hours a day.

It was impressive to hear that the camp is held every time with the aim of ensuring that even the organizers can enjoy it. It was unfortunate that it rained both days and we couldn't play tennis, but everyone said the indoor sports day was really fun♪ It was my fifth time attending, and I talked to many people I hadn't talked to before, made lots of new friends again, and had a fulfilling two days. Thank you for the enjoyable time. I'll definitely participate again.

I participated with members of the club I usually practice with. This tennis camp, where we spent one night with nearly 100 tennis friends, is an amazing concept not found anywhere else in the country. I made lots of friends. We even talked about going out for drinks next time. I was anxious because I'm shy, but I was actively engaged in conversation and my nervousness disappeared in an instant. I'm already booking the next schedule.

I look forward to this event every time! I was delighted to see that many participants were friendly and kind even to an old guy like me. Not only tennis, but the evening parties are always elaborate, which is truly inspiring. Just playing tennis and having a drinking party is enjoyable, but this camp, where we can also create wonderful memories, is truly appreciated! I'm looking forward to the next one as always.

I'm grateful for always being given such enjoyable opportunities. Playing tennis with different members every time is stimulating. The evening parties are also lively with plenty of alcohol until late at night, which is amazing! I've been making more acquaintances every time.
